We recently completed a web design and development project for We Are Stourbridge, a business directory and local blog created to showcase businesses, news, and community content from across Stourbridge.
The goal of the project was to build a site that not only looked professional and was easy to navigate, but also gave the client a simple and scalable way to manage directory listings and publish local content going forward.
To achieve this, we developed the website using custom post types and dynamic elements, allowing new businesses and blog posts to be added quickly and consistently without needing to redesign pages each time. This gave the site a flexible structure that supports future growth while keeping content management straightforward for the client.
As part of the project, we also helped set up a Stripe subscription automation, making it easy for businesses to sign up and join the directory through a streamlined payment and onboarding process. This added an important commercial function to the site and helped automate what would otherwise be a manual admin task.
Overall, the finished website provides a modern local platform for Stourbridge businesses, combining directory functionality, community-focused content, and an efficient subscription system that supports long-term use and expansion.
